Students work in stations to discover what is under the ocean and how the tides work. As they move from station to station they discuss the continental shelf, abyssal plain and sea mounts. They also discovered how much of the world is covered by the ocean.
Haley accepts the challenge and codes an "H". Students participated in an hour of code through Khan Academy this week.

Students are excited everyday in math. Yes math! We work on our Promethean board to review, test and practice. Today however we are preview Decimals. They are playing jeopardy. By working in teams in their AJ (academic journal) they find the answer then go to the board.
As students use iPads, they scan QR codes to find the answers in their science stations. Then they use computers to make a presentation on what they find.
Symbaloo is a great tool for studying ecosystems. Students are interacting with various web sites from @Symbaloo check us out!
Students love math stations. From addition to division each station concentrates so hard. Parents come visit our math or science stations for our Thanksgiving celebration!
Students are using area model (box), Lattice, Traditional, and a few Partial products. But we all love our stations!
