Today my 5th grade go to go meet their new teacher. It is so sad to see a piece of me leave. BUT I got to see my former student before they leave for 7th grade. It has been a bitter sweet day. Lots of fun and tears but we are ready for summer.

The wait is over. We have hatched eggs, watched caterpillar become a butterfly, kept frogs and tadpoles. Well now the tadpoles are becoming frogs! We are so excited to see all our animals grow.

Students used their knowledge of geometric shapes to make a robot. They wrote a story of their robot and labeled all the shapes. Come see them on Tuesday.

We have one duck and 5 chicks. We have made observations, weighed and measured each baby. Students are doing a great job researching and taking care of the animals. They have added them to their individual web sites. We can't wait to share with parents on May 26.
