STUDENTS!!!!! Mrs. Tucker's students show their parents how to make cell cookies at Open House. They explained the parts of a cell. I think even Mrs. Paul stopped by and ate a cell wall! Haha. We all enjoyed eating our cookies. There were a lot of nucleus eaten. That was that favorite organelle. Lol.
Students began the unit on cells. What better way than to compare the parts of the cell to food! Ask you child what the cell is compared too!!! Or the gum drops!?!? Yummy. We had a blast today. Thank you for your support. We are doing this all week. Students review for a test using adaptedmind. They are really understand concepts and earning badges. If they miss a problem they can watch a video. They are excited about math. They challenge themselves to how many they can get right in a row! Exciting things happening on purple hall! Students continue to work on the scientific method. They follow the steps to set up experiments, play matching games, find independent variables, and watch a video about setting up data graphs. We are enjoying our stations. This week we added technological designs. We have a specific problem we a trying to solve! Students are at stations for the scientific method. They are exploring, learning vocabulary, creating activities , orgazing notes, reading and comprehending, and our favorite experimenting! Come check out our room!
