Students work in stations to discover what is under the ocean and how the tides work. As they move from station to station they discuss the continental shelf, abyssal plain and sea mounts. They also discovered how much of the world is covered by the ocean.
Haley accepts the challenge and codes an "H". Students participated in an hour of code through Khan Academy this week. Sara and Emily are very excited to complete the challenge. They are moving on to add color. Ariel and Seth set out on their on to create more coding. Students just keep amazing me!!! Students are excited everyday in math. Yes math! We work on our Promethean board to review, test and practice. Today however we are preview Decimals. They are playing jeopardy. By working in teams in their AJ (academic journal) they find the answer then go to the board. As students use iPads, they scan QR codes to find the answers in their science stations. Then they use computers to make a presentation on what they find. |
